Pilsen - Mexican & Mexican-American

Best for: Tacos, tamales, pan dulce

The heart of Chicago's Mexican community serves some of the city's most authentic food.

Must-try spots:

  • Carnitas Uruapan (cash only, worth it)

  • Don Carto's Tacos for late night

  • Nuevo León for family-style

Devon Avenue (Rogers Park) - Indian & Pakistani
